Earwigs

Identification: Brown insects with forceps-like pincers.
Symptoms: Irregular leaf holes, flower damage, or chewed seedlings.
Control:

• Oil Traps: Tuna cans with soy sauce and oil attract and trap them.

• Cardboard Rolls: Place overnight and discard in morning.

• Diatomaceous Earth: Apply around garden beds.

• Encourage Predators: Birds and toads feed on earwigs.
