Ingredients:

  2. Strain out the garlic and mix the garlic-infused oil with 1 quart of water.

  3. Add liquid soap to the mixture.

4. Chili Pepper Spray

Effective for: Caterpillars, Grasshoppers, Aphids, Whiteflies, Spider Mites

Ingredients:

  • 10 fresh chili peppers or 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper powder

  • 1 quart of water

  • 1 teaspoon mild liquid soap

Instructions:

  1. Blend the chili peppers with water and strain the liquid into a spray bottle.

  2. Add the liquid soap to the spray and shake well.

  3. Spray directly onto the plants where pests are present. Be cautious when spraying around edible plants to avoid spice residue.

  4. Reapply every 7-10 days.

5. Peppermint Oil Spray

Effective for: Aphids, Spider Mites, Thrips, Whiteflies, Rodents

Ingredients:

  • 10-15 drops of peppermint essential oil

  • 1 quart of water

  • 1 teaspoon mild liquid soap

Instructions:

  1. Mix peppermint oil with soap in 1 quart of water.

  2. Shake well and spray directly on the plants, especially around pest-infested areas and places where rodents may enter.

  3. Reapply every 7-10 days.

6. Garlic and Chili Pepper Combo Spray

Effective for: Aphids, Spider Mites, Thrips, Whiteflies, Caterpillars, Mealybugs, Grasshoppers, Mice and Rats

Ingredients:

  • 10 cloves of garlic

  • 2 tablespoons cayenne pepper or 10 fresh chili peppers

  • 1 quart of water

  • 1 teaspoon mild liquid soap

Instructions:

  1. Blend the garlic and chili peppers with water and strain the mixture.

  2. Add liquid soap and stir well.

  3. Spray directly onto affected areas and surrounding areas.

  4. Reapply every 7-10 days.

7. Diatomaceous Earth (DE) Application

Effective for: Spider Mites, Thrips, Fungus Gnats, Broad Mites, Russet Mites, Caterpillars, Grasshoppers, Root Aphids

Ingredients:

  • Diatomaceous Earth (food grade)

Instructions:

  1. Apply a thin layer of Diatomaceous Earth around the base of plants or dust leaves directly.

  2. Reapply after rain or watering to maintain effectiveness.

  3. Avoid inhaling the dust while applying.

8. Essential Oil Spray (General Use)
