Rust

Identification: Reddish-brown, orange, or yellow pustules on leaves and stems.

Symptoms: Leaves turn yellow and drop prematurely, reduced growth and yield.

Control:

• Sulfur Dust: Use sulfur to treat and prevent rust on plants.

• Remove Affected Leaves: Prune away and discard infected leaves.

• Resistant Varieties: Plant rust-resistant varieties.

• Improve Air Circulation: Space plants properly to allow for airflow.
